Greetings from Lake Pleasant, NY! Location: We are located on Sacandaga Lake in the Town of Lake Pleasant off of Fish Mountain Road. We are about 4 miles west of Speculator. We are only open during the summer. We rent full weeks only, from Saturday to Saturday. Cottage: Currently, we have one housekeeping cabin. It comes with a fully equipped kitchen, full living room, dining area, and baseboard heat. It has two bedrooms. We furnish two blankets for each bed. You bri...ng your own sheets, pillowcases, and towels. The cabin has an outside fireplace. Beach: Our beach has a gentle slope and is good for families with small children. Beach chairs are available at the beach and in campfire area. Children require constant supervision while swimming. You are welcome to bring your own rowboat, oars, and life jackets. Motor boats are available for rent in several places in town. Fishing: Sacandaga is a good lake for fishing. The lake is stocked annually by the State of New York Conservation Department with Rainbow and Brown Trout. Small Mouth Bass, Perch and Sunfish are plentiful in the lake.
