The Transportation Department is pleased to recognize Waldy Baez Rodriguez as the Employee of the Month for December. . Waldy joined Willow Run as a permit trainee in June of 2019. During the training process, Waldy quickly established himself as a motivated employee with a desire to be successful. He went with multiple trainers, simply so he could get as much as experience as possible which helped him earn his CDL A three months later in September. . Waldy is assigned thr...ee New York City routes 199, 399, and 599. Upon his return from his scheduled routes, he will always come in and ask if there is any extra work available that he can fit in before his next trip. Since he started these routes in September, Waldy has done 13 extra runs. It does not seem to matter where he goes, Waldy is always on time and accurate with his deliveries. Throughout all his hard work, Waldy is routinely near the top of the list when it comes to cases delivered and perfect trucks. . On a personal level, Waldy is a joy to work with. From his customers to his colleagues, Waldy always communicates professionally with a smile on his face and never lets a difficult situation affect his positive attitude. He always shows up to work ahead of schedule, in proper uniform, and ready to hit the road. . Waldy is not only a quality driver, but he’s also an outstanding employee who goes above and beyond.
