American avant-garde composer, multi-wind instrumentalist and visual artist born March 11, 1940, Gibson took part in numerous landmark musical events over the past five decades, performing critical roles in the early ensembles of Steve Reich, Terry Riley, LaMonte Young and Philip Glass. Host Dylan A. Marcheschi will guide listeners through Gibson’s early solo recordings, as well as play excerpts from a number of archived live performances. Tune in from 3-6 PM.
