If anyone is not working and runs out of food, please don’t go to sleep with an empty stomach. Don’t be afraid or embarrassed to send me a private message. WNY will be more than happy to help with food! I will drop and go. No questions asked and no repayment needed! I was taught growing up that where one person eats; two can eat, too. We have to be more grateful and less selfish. #JoinTheCause #CopyAndPasteIfYouCanAndAreWilling

Urgent update! Dear Families and patients of WNY Pediatric Gastroenterology, During these difficult times, our top priority is ensuring we take appropriate and correct measures to support our employees and families, protect our patients and minimize exposure to and slow the transmission of COVID-19.... It’s important that everyone is vigilant in assisting to decrease the spread of COVID19. We are constantly assessing and re-evaluating situation and will take necessary action based on healthcare officials, CDC guidelines and recommendations. We are committed to implementing necessary urgent changes outlined below. These changes will be effective Monday, March 16 until further notice: Every patient coming in for an appointment and every new patients being scheduled over the phone should be asked the following questions: 1. Have you traveled outside the country in the past month? 2. Are you exhibiting any respiratory symptoms such as cough or difficulty breathing and/or fever? 3. Have you been exposed to anyone with Coronavirus? 4. Have you been diagnosed with Coronavirus? If the answer is YES to any of those questions, that patient should be sent home immediately. Schedulers should delay appointments for those patients by at least 1 month. Emergency cases will need to be seen; however, the physicians will make that decision on a case by case basis. The patient can be scheduled if they answer No. We ask that when you do come for visit that you limit number of adults and accompanied minors. We will limit number of patients receiving infusions at the same time and will try to have no more than 2 patients during infusion with one accompanied adult. We will continue to use approved disinfectants between patient care to minimize spread of any pathogens and minimize patient contact as much as possible. All of our efforts are intended to promote the social distancing trends and we advocate patients to maintain social distancing of at least 6 ft apart. We ask that no more than two families be present in the waiting room. Our office is right across free public parking lot and we will be asking some families to wait in the car and will call them as exam room becomes available and sanitized. We urge everyone to Avoid shaking hands, hugging and touching your eyes, nose and mouth Cough and sneeze into your elbow and immediately wash or sanitize hands We will provide further communication as the conditions in the community change and new recommendations become available. At the present time, office will remain open until further notice as dictated by the Department of Health. Our focus is on keeping everyone healthy and safe. Thank you, WNY Pediatric Gastroenterology 166 Washington Avenue Batavia, NY 14221 Phone: 585-250-4132 Fax: 585-345-4250
