Interesting reading on the reliability of bike helmet testing. We want our helmets to be safe and comfortable, but the standards are hard to parse out and whose testing do you believe.

All of our guides are talented folk who live interesting lives when not on tour. Any of you who have toured with Angela Peterson know what a great cyclist, great guide and great mechanic she is. We didn't know, however, what a great pianist she is. Two of our intrepid west coast guides have just finished the United Bicycle Institute's week-long mechanic training. Cindi West and Abby Noon traveled together and spent the week honing their bike skills. Thanks to them for gaining even more bike knowledge !!!!

This is an enticing trailer to a forthcoming film about cyclists retracing the bike route of one's grandfather, taken in Norway in the 1950's. It looks divine. Norway is a country close to Matty’s heart, a connection which only came to light after unearthing his Grandfathers previously unseen photo albums shortly after his death. They show a young and cheerful man, with a dry wit, exploring beautiful Norwegian nature by bicycle, endless gravel roads, stave churches and cascading waterfalls. All in the 1950’s. We both knew that we had to try, in some small way, to trace and commemorate his journey and visit some of the same locations and beautiful panoramas. Maybe, we dared to think, even recreate one of his images and come to find his ‘Lost Captures’

Yesterday our first Moab group hiked the sights in Arches National Park under brilliant blue skies. They also rode the amazing LaSal Loop Road near guide Patty Jackson's home. The views are stunning. Enjoy!
