THE WORTHWILD X SNOWPEAK GUIDE TO OUTDOOR DINING Good times in hard times are possible. We need to celebrate life. To come together in some safe way. People need people. Outdoor dining is going to be incredibly important for New York City for the foreseeable future. As unbelievable as this sounds it's actually possible to eat outside and have a good time during a New York winter. We're here with our friends from one of our favorite outdoor brands Snowpeak to share with you acouple of outdoor dining survival tips. First of all we've got to follow all Covid safety guidelines. Don't come out if you're not feeling well, wash your hands and wear a mask when you're not seated at the table. Let's be safe and act responsibly and then let thefestivities flow.

LAYERING Even with a heated outdoor space layering your clothingproperly is the key to being comfortable outside. Basically you need to wear a base, a mid and an outer layer. The base is your first layer which wicks the sweat off your skin (we all sweat), the mid layer retains your body heat to protect you from the cold and the outerlayer shields you from the elements. Now these layers can be thin or thick, light or heavy and made from various materials depending on how col...d it is. Natural fibers like Merino wool are best against the skin. Then we mix in the accessories, hats, gloves and bring your own blankets. Warm feet are also paramount. You get this mix right and you're golden and kicking it rather than shivering and sad. FOOD & DRINK Outdoor dining is all about food and drink that warms the heart and fortifies the soul. Hot Ciders and Whiskeys. A little drop of the hard stuff and the cold will start to fade away. It's a time for comfort food, Roasted Beer Can Chicken in a cast iron Dutch Oven, Beef Wellington with a decadent mash, Lamb and Bean Stew in a Staub Cocettewith a side of BroccoliRabe charred over the grill, maybe a Campfire Smore with an Irish Coffee to finish.
