Big bunches of kale for our customers - nutrient dense and high in vitamins A and C. Health is a priority at WSCAH, and we strive to provide our customers with nutritious, high quality foods that will boost their overall wellbeing, especially now in light of the pandemic.
We can’t thank City Harvest enough for the continued and extra support they have provided us over the past few weeks. We are extremely grateful for their partnership and look forward to continuing to come together to best serve New Yorkers in need.
No matter the weather, our dedicated staff and volunteers are out everyday to ensure our customer have access to the healthy food and resources they need during this time. Dignity and community in action.
Every year, West Side Campaign Against Hunger launches the Turkey Challenge to ensure our customers enjoy Thanksgiving meals with their families. This November, we are chasing an ambitious goal of distributing turkeys and other holiday foods to over 5,000 families with thousands of New Yorkers newly facing food insecurity as a result of COVID-19. Want to get involved and learn more about supporting our Turkey Challenge? Join us tomorrow, October 27th at 1pm to learn more about the Turkey Challenge and joining our Community Coalition.
