Official Statement from YV in regards to my Covid-19 Positive results At this point I can only do what I think is right and ask anyone who was close and in contact with me to see their physician and be tested. I was tested 5 days ago (more or less) and was negative, since then I attended a food drive at 330 Riverdale Ave on Sat (12/05/20) and a Tenant Meeting on 12/07/20 (100 Harriet). I know that there is another person that who was at both events who also tested positive t...oday. At this point: It does not matter who infected who, what matters is that you do the right thing and be tested so you don’t infect others. Yes, MASK don’t prevent infection but it sure minimizes infection: What you got to lose by wearing your mask. Thank you for listening.

People inside the store say that victim was shot in the stomach (unconfirmed) by two individuals that ran upwards on Walnut after firing. Victim transported to Saint Joseph’s Hospital ####### UPDATE (10/28/20 at 12:08am) We just received information that YPD MAY have a suspect in custody. UPDATE (10/28/20 at 12:51): We hear reports that the victim has passed away. Our Condolences to his family and friends. PS-22 will be closed until Nov 4th... ###### 10/27/20 at 7:30pm: This just in COVID-19 Daily School Update: October 2020 TUESDAY, OCTOBER 27, 2020 The school district was informed today that a staff member from School 22 received a positive COVID-19 test result. School 22 will be closed through Tuesday, November 3, 2020 based on the recommendation of the Westchester County Health Department. All students will continue learning using the District’s 100% Online Remote Instruction model. On Wednesday, November 4, 2020, the school will reopen for student and staff to resume Hybrid Instruction for students. Tomorrow morning, all students should follow School 22’s 100% Online Remote Instruction model and logs into their class at 8:35 AM.
