Potential exposure to Covid-19 Today an agent scheduled a viewing appointment for one of my listings. When I insisted on having the Covid-19 questionnaire to be filled out prior to the appointment, and even though two days ago she promised me she will email the signed forms to me, but today she called me and changed her words to saying she will have her clients sign when they arrive at the premises. I told her I can’t do that. So then she had her broker call me up, and he ar...gued with me saying that the clients told them over the phone that they are feeling fine and do not have Covid-19, the broker also told me that I should try to work together as a team. I still held on to my position. So finally they had the clients fill out the forms. And guess what, one of the clients answered on the questionnaire that he’s been experiencing symptoms recently, and that he’s also recently traveled to one of the restricted states announced by the NYS government. So I canceled the appointment, and I told the broker that if I had deferred to him, I would have driven there for nothing, and exposed everyone at the property to risk. See more
