I recently traveled to the Dominican Republic. Remember that you MUST have a Negative Covid test to board a plane from any foreign country coming to the USA. Upon arrival back at JFK airport I saw signs about the travel health form that had to be completed. Save time and scan it from your walk from the plane to the immigration. (BTW - if you have walking issues request a wheelchair - it is quite a walk). Anyway fill out the form so they can trace you. If you are vaccin...ated you still have to fill it out but will not have to quarantine. Another good reason to get the vax. The next day I received this text... We recommend that after you travel you closely monitor for symptoms of COVID-19. You can find a site for a fast, no-cost-to-you test at nyc.gov/covidtest . All United States residents 16 and older can now get vaccinated. ONE MORE THING. At this time you do not have to have a covid test to enter DR or MEX - However we STRONGLY suggest you get it within 72 hours of departure from USA. I took my test and glad I did because when I arrived in DR they pulled me off the line and asked if I had been tested. I proved to them that I had even though it was not required. In the event that I was called over and didn't have a test result they would have tested me there. Hopefully the test would have been negative but if it wasn't ...why take the chance. Get tested. Get Vaccinated. Be safe.

I have been coming to Santo Domingo for over 20 years. This is one of the best dining experiences I have ever had here. Being from NYC and as a world travel I know good restaurants. This one is special. Great hospitality, diverse menu, tasty drinks and excellent prices. Somewhere I will go back to again and again. They like most establishments need our support.
