Our Holy Church celebrates the memory of the three Hierarchs - St. Basil the Great, St. John Chrysostom, and St. Gregory the Theologian. They are guiding examples and from their mouths flowed rivers of Wisdom, which nourished the entire flock with their teaching. Their feast is also called the Feast of the Letters, because all three Hierarchs were great Teachers and Fathers of the Church. They studied in the greatest schools of their time.
