Iron Soldiers, Being away on mission is always a difficult time to set a goal to achieve. But Spc Nelson of the Battalion Mortar section did just that. Listed in the lobby of the Rayburn House Office Building, the largest office building for members of Congress at the U.S. Capitol, are the names of every service member who gave their life in service to the Nation since Sept. 11, 2001. Among those names are four from the Iron Battalion who made the ultimate sacrifice. They are: PFC Nathan P. Brown SPC Segun F. Akintade SGT Michael A. Uvanni SGT David L. Roustum... If you’re ever in Washington, D.C., and find yourself at the U.S. Capitol, be sure to stop by and pay your respects to the heroes who’ve given everything in the name of freedom. Blood and Iron!
