ADOPTER WANTED! MEET DALE! He was rescued from a Florida rescue by a young man who wanted to train him as a service dog! The adopter brought him back to NY and dumped him on his family who can’t take care of him! He is a lab/pit mix, 91lbs, 3yrs old, neutered and UTD with shots. He is fecal negative and is a good dog. He is presently with a foster that is taking him for training And is giving him the structure and socialization he needs. He seemed to like the little dogs, but is protective of his humans when out on walks! He is also on a diet! Santa is being good to our dogs this Xmas!! NALA is officially adopted!! She was dumped by the only family she had loved for 6 years!! One of our fosters persuaded her parents to foster after losing their beloved pet of 12 yrs to diabetes. Our little lady warmed their hearts into taking a chance on unconditional love and BAM Xmas magic worked it’s charm! Thank you Richie for taking her in when she was dumped! Thank you Kelly for all you do and for working your magic! Thank you mom and Sad for giving this middle aged dog a new loving, better forever home! Happy tails to all!!

PRADA got an early Xmas present and found the best home! She lives in a 7000sq foot home with human siblings, a kitty cat and a mom and daddy that loves her! Update ADOPTED!! PUPPY ALERT!! Meet VENUS! She is the goddess of love!! She is sweet, gorgeous, smart and very lovable! She just turned 5mths and is fully vetted! Fecal negative, UTD on all shots, microchipped, and spayed. She is almost completely house broken and crate trained. She loves the car and is really good on long rides! She is great with other dogs but a puppy so she needs boundaries! She is a dominate dog lol!! If interested in this beauty apply ASAP she won’t last!

UPDATE PRADA IS ADOPTED !! Prada is looking for a loving family. She is 1 year old, and 58lbs! She is very loving, playful & attentive and has puppy energy so a great hiking partner! She is crate & potty trained. She will sleep inside the cage or next to you. She needs some leash training as she pulls a bit. Kids are ok !But not too many at once, you really see the puppy in her when kids are around. She’s a strong dog so she’s prefers older ones She is dog friendly, as l...ong as the other dog isn’t overly dominant. She needs more socialization with dogs so we ask that you are dog wavy! It saddens us to say that an ACC favorite that went from deaf on death row to the most incredible home with more love than a dog could wish for was diagnosed with lymphoma! Beautiful Biscuit needs our prayers and good wishes please send them his way!

MEET NYLA! Left behind when her owners moved a week ago! Luckily this poor baby had an angel that called the police and ACC responded as well! Her angel is fostering this emaciated baby! She is 11 months and only 38lbs. She has a bad ear infection and appears to have allergies and needs to be spayed. She is a great dog that just needs TLC and love! MEET COSMO! He was dumped by his owner due to a financial struggle and the fact she thought he was blocked due to chicken bones! She surrendered him to us immediately. He was only a year old, healthy, just needs to be neutered and microchipped. Susanne one of our most dedicated volunteers and foster, jumped into action and met us at the vet to foster this poor baby. Turns out he was constipated and needed a laxative! Well it only took 5 hours for her to call and say she is keeping him!! Rescues dream of these moments unfortunately it never happens for the big ones! Please consider helping a dog in need! UPDATE CAGNEY went to get his surgery tonight and prayers and donations are needed! He deserves so much more in his young life! The rope burns around his neck and burns down his back are permanent reminders of his past abuse but his leg and recent vetting will let him know he matters!!WE NEED TO RAISE THE MONEY TO HELP THIS AMAZING YOUNG DOG!! PLEASE SHARE!! MEET CAGNEY! This beautiful young boy was found burned down his back and with a broken hip laying in the street. T...he vets determined he was hit with a blunt object or kicked so hard it broke the bone clean off. He will need $2500 in surgery and just got neutered, shots, fecal tested (neg) and microchipped. He is the sweetest baby in spite of what he has been through! We want to thank Rich For stepping up to foster him while he gets his surgery and TLC he needs! UPDATE CHARLIE is formally adopted!! He has the most amazing home and two twin boys and two fur brothers to play with! MEET Rocky aka Rock. I used to live outside in a doghouse in Queens. The man who kept me outside moved away and didnt take me with him. MEET SASHA! Gentle, loyal and timid, Sasha is a 1 year old Lab mix weighing 35 lbs. She is currently in foster and lives with another dog and 2 cats. Sasha knows many commands and is 100% house trained. She loves to go for walks, to the dog park and in car rides. She is also a great running partner. When it is time to rest, she will cuddle up right next to you or her furry brother/sister. Sasha is timid and the perfect adopter will have patience and understanding for her.
