GIAC Alex Haley Pool Season Closing The Greater Ithaca Activities Center (GIAC) would like to take this opportunity to thank our donors for their support this summer at Alex Haley Pool. Without that much appreciated financial support, opening the pool for the season would not have been possible. Also a huge thank you to all of our families and individual community members who visited the pool over the summer, whether it was 1 time or 10 times, we enjoyed having you there. Ala...s, we have come to the final week for the 2020 season. We know the weather isn't favorable for swimming at this time but we want to extend an invitation for you to swim with us in this our final week. We have reduced the operating hours for this final week to 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm, Tuesday - Friday, and noon - 7:00 pm, Saturday & Sunday. Please remember to stay safe -- wear your mask, wash your hands, maintain 6-feet of distance between each other, and do your part to help stop the spread of COVID-19 in our community. We were able to keep the pool open all season because you did those things for us. and now we encourage you to keep doing them for the health of our community. We look forward to seeing each of you in June of 2021!
