Happy December everyone! Here is Kingston Parks and Rec December Newsletter!

The Snow Emergency will remain in effect into Friday, December 18. Vehicles should remain on the odd side of the street throughout Thursday, December 17, and t...hen move to the even side of the street at 7:00am on Friday, December 18. To allow DPW to continue clearing roadways, vehicles must move to the EVEN side of the street on Friday at 7:00am. The best place for vehicles is off street. Vehicles not in compliance with these parking restrictions will be ticketed and towed City Services Trash and recycling will be picked up on Friday. All parking lots and meters are suspended. Thank you to all who participated in our wonderful November events including: the championship games for our flag football league, our Thanksgiving coloring contest, our "Fowl" Shot contest and our Thanksgiving break bags! We can't wait to share more fun programs with you soon.

In preparation for the forecast of an accumulation of 12-20 inches of snow in our region, the City of Kingston has declared a Snow Emergency beginning TONIGHT A...T 12:00AM. Parking restrictions will go into effect at 2:00AM. Please move your vehicle to the ODD side of the street as soon as possible. Vehicles may only be parked on the ODD side of the street, which means the side of the street with odd house numbers. The best place for vehicles is off street. Vehicles should remain on the odd side of the street throughout Thursday, December 17, 2020. Vehicles not in compliance with these parking restrictions will be ticketed and towed. Snow Emergency Routes will be maintained as priorities for plowing throughout the storm. City Services: * Trash and recycling will not be picked up on Thursday, and will be delayed one day. Please do not put your bins curbside tonight! * All parking lots and meters are suspended.
