A few updates to share! Our hours have changed as follows: Monday 10-6 Tuesday 10-6... Wednesday 10-5 (appointments until 3) Thursday 10-6 Friday 10-4 Saturday 10-3 We have resumed Grooming with limited availability, please call us to schedule an appointment. We are currently taking appointments for Saturdays starting June 13th. We are still prioritizing sick and injured visits but we are now also scheduling wellness visits to updates vaccines. Happy hour nail trim specials are every Wednesday from 3-4:30, by appointment only. We are still doing curbside appointments as we are only allowing staff into the hospital at this time. Early Snow Closure: For the safety of our clients and staff, Animal Hospital of the Rockaways will be closing at 3:00PM today, Thursday, December 17, 2020. We plan to open tomorrow, December 18, 2020 at 9:00AM for our regular business hours. We always love a visit from our biggest puppy Hudson He gave the entire staff much needed love today. We love watching our furry friends grow, and boy has he grown!

Today is World Pet Memorial Day, a special day to memorialize beloved pets that have passed away. Although pets are only in our lives for a short time, they stay in our memories forever. One of our most special pets was our Hospital Dog Trey. He was brought to us in critical condition and spent years with us showing us what true love was. He was the sweetest boy who endured unknown cruelty before we met him, and not once did he let that change his pure heart. Unfortunately w...e lost this wonderful soul 2 years ago but his memory will live in our hearts forever. Our lives were better because he was there. We're taking this time to remember and honor all of the beloved pets we've had the pleasure of getting to know and care for throughout the years. Thank you for trusting us and allowing us into your pets lives and having them be a part of our hearts.
