Hi everyone, hope you are all doing well APhA Operation Heart and MePA are collaborating on a great outreach event that is Co-curricular approved!! Join us as we raise awareness on hypertension in a community pharmacy ( CVS by the school) where you will get a chance to educate patients on what HTN is and how to monitor their BP. We will conduct blood pressure screenings to patients interested, as well. This is a great event to get your elective credit completed and make a difference in your community. 2 volunteers are needed from 1:00-2:00 pm & 2 volunteers from 2:00-3:00 pm. APhA has decided to partner up with BAPA and @bddevelop on an amazing donation project where the proceeds will be donated to Bangladesh, to help underprivileged patients in Bangladesh who don’t have the means to pay for medical procedures/surgeries, PPE equipment for hospitals, medication supply, and emergency care. If possible, we will try to obtain pictures/stories of patients to show you exactly where your money is going, and the difference you are making! Donation info is on the flyer.
