Design for America of NYU

This semester NYU FREEdge is collecting canned and dry food donations in 6 MetroTech on the shelf by the NYU MakerSpace. Great thanks to all the donations that have been already made. Regular donations will be made to local community fridges and food pantries.

Last Friday, we hosted our first DFA NYU Speaker Series event of the semester with Jaskeerat Bedi, #ExperienceDesigner at Microsoft working on Conversational #AI + #ML. Jaskeerat is a design leader with 10+ years of pioneering work in integrating #designthinking with #emergingtechnologies for driving #socialinnovation. She shared with us her professional journey, her perspective about design thinking as a driver for change and her thoughts about design and emerging technologies, in particular AI. An interesting point that she made during the event is that the "design-thinking is involving in three dimensions: #culture, #people and #process.
