Are you kidding me with those eyes?! Every kid needs a pair of rubber boots and a rain jacket for crunching leaves and splashing puddles. . It’s a play day but make it fashion.

When COVID-19 hit, I realized how totally unprepared I was to take on a global pandemic. . Naturally, I went on a shopping spree to fill my food storage and prepare my home in case another wave hit. . I threw in a few packs of these Duke Canon cold shower body and face towels. Last night I went for a walk to enjoy the crisp October air. The moon illuminated the sky and the sidewalk perfectly. I thought about the year 2020 and all of the calamity we've experienced. I had so many plans for this year, and I accomplished almost none of them. . But I did accomplish a lot. This year placed me in circumstances I never thought I'd be in. I made incredible friendships and cultivated new skills and talents. I learned to fall in love with the process of lovi...ng myself. I found a strength and a beauty inside of me that I never noticed was there. But maybe most importantly, I learned to enjoy the life I live everyday. . Yes, goals and dreams are important because they anchor our lives and drive our direction. But 2020 taught me to love the day I'm currently living. . If you are feeling alone or isolated this year, or if you had a different plan for how your year was going to go, I see you. And I promise that even this darkest of nights will end and the sun will rise. But today, I'm choosing to love the moon. See more
