Stream A Week’s Worth Of Free Movies From Indigenous Filmmakers The National Museum of the American Indian is offering up robust online programming for Native American Heritage Month. On November 18, the museum will launch its weeklong Native Cinema Showcase, which this year will take place for free and entirely online. For a week and a half, the museum will put a few new films and shorts by Indigenous filmmakers online each day, from Conscience Point, which follows the struggle to protect the land and heritage of the Shinnecock Indian Nation, the original inhabitants of the Hamptons; to Blood Quantum, a horror film about a Mi’kmaq reserve that’s surrounded by a zombie uprising, and whose indigenous residents find themselves immune to the growing plague.
