ICYMI! In September 2019, Dr. Ian Lipkin spoke at the CDC about our past and current #MECFS research. In this talk, Dr. Lipkin covers some new information, incl...uding exciting details about TruCulture, a technology being employed to investigate how immune cells from people with ME/CFS respond to different stimuli. He also presents some yet-to-be published findings from a plasma proteomics study, detailing differential expression of specific immunoglobulins in people with ME/CFS. Dr. Lipkin goes on to discuss a promising epigenetics pilot, stating: I think this is really some of the most promising data I’ve seen thus far, that has to do with talking about ways in which genomic modification might occur.
