Hope everyone is staying safe and healthy as things are slowly getting back to normal. With smaller events starting to open up as have the rumor mills in regard...s to our event especially locally so we figured we should reach out to everyone. The event is NOT cancelled and is still scheduled for August. There are a few metrics we are waiting on before we can open or release anything officially, open the adjusted registration for line times etc. While some events have been being allowed to occur they are much smaller in size and we unfortunately face larger restrictions due to the event size. We are waiting for the green light from our state in order to be allowed with the capacity requirements. Things are tracking towards that direction and looks like our late August date will be fine since in our area we are already moving into phase 4 of opening. Additionally this event is the CAN AM meaning Canada. We also are awaiting the border to be re opened. I will not run this event without our Canadian counterparts being able to have an opportunity to attend. We have all worked extremely hard at building the relationships with archery in Canada and it would not be right nor would I hold the event without them just for the sake of holding the event. They Canadian archery contingent are number one our friends but also an important part of why this event works so well so that is the second metric that we need to be able to hit is the border being opened. With that being said we have an absolutely killer event planned and have made it a very fun event something we have been thinking about for a while and now get to trial it. Once the details are fully released I think that everyone will very much enjoy this event so much so that it may have to stay on the schedule as possibly part of the Can Am Tour which we will have details upcoming later for that once we see how everything else shakes out so stay tuned for that. In the meantime we hope everyone is staying safe and healthy and starting to get back outdoors shooting and we look forward to seeing everyone very soon fingers crossed and as always feel free to PM, Call, or email me with any questions about the event. Unless it comes from me or my team I wouldn’t rely to heavily on the mis information that we always continue to hear go around out there since it’s inception some folks have either hoped for the event to fail or have intentionally tried to make it fail and yet here we are. Which is crazy to us because this is an event that benefits our region but that’s a topic of conversation for another day. Shoot straight and stay safe and healthy Jason
