Dahlia Rocks! is an art project created by 4th grade student Dahlia. She remembered painting rocks with her grandmother and how happy that made them. Dahlia decided to paint 8 rocks with different pictures and place them in various locations at Bailey Arboretum. They're placed in safe, visible spots on the side of trails, on top of tree stumps and more. By creating this project, Dahlia hopes to create happy moments for visitors to the arboretum. If you're on a solitary walk at the arboretum and come across a Dahlia Rocks! rock, please leave it in the same spot. Take a picture, post it on Instagram or FB and tag @baileyarboretum. Or you can make your own small, happy rock and leave it on the side of the trail for others to enjoy.
