Bard College Farm 29.11.2020

Mark your calendars!

Bard College Farm 15.11.2020

Good morning, Today is our last farm stand of this season and tomorrow the snow flies. We made it! I want to thank the incredible students who worked this spring, summer and fall through this unprecedented year with dedication and tenacity. The farm helped ground us all and kept us tethered to a greater purpose and our community. Thank you to the college for supporting the decision to move forward with our growing season. As a result we were able to donate thousands of pound...s of produce to local emergency food programs as well as our own campus food share boxes for students who were unable to go home over the summer. Thank you to the classes and students that came to the farm to volunteer, learn, conduct research and explore. We are a living classroom and want to support your academic needs in whatever capacity we can. And a big thank you to all our loyal customers and supporters. It has been a season, embedded in a year we will never forget. Today at market we have an amazing abundance of fall roots and greens as well as some lovely farm themed masks for $5.00 that were hand crafted and graciously donated to the farm by our very own Micki Strawinski who has been sewing up a storm since the pandemic hit. REMINDERS: Please make sure if you are going to the farm stand today that you have met campus health and safety guidelines and are cleared to be on campus. We ask that if you come to the market please wear a mask and maintain 6 feet of social distance. We ask that you bring your own bag and we will gladly fill it for you. We will be open from 12-5pm in front of New Annandale House by the Kline bus stop at the intersection of Woods Ave and Annadale rd.
