The quesillo is a typical Venezuelan dessert, made with eggs and condensed milk. The entire surface of the mold is cooked in a water bath and caramelized. It is considered a version of grilled milk. The flan is another thing. It is usually served as a dessert or as a cake accompaniment on birthdays, along with jelly. The name comes from having pores that resemble cheese holes. These pores are produced by the fact of being made with whole eggs (unlike the flan in which on...ly the yolks are used). Judging by its characteristics, it is known in countries like Ecuador with the name of milk cheese.
