Le Roy High's Marching Knights competed today in the NYS Field Band Championship @ Syracuse University. They earned a season-best score of 8160, which garnered the Knights a third-place finish in the SS3 Division.

House Democrats on Monday introduced an article of impeachment against President Donald Trump over his alleged incitement last week of the Capitol riot as Republicans blocked an initial attempt to pass a resolution calling on Vice President Mike Pence to use the 25th amendment to remove the president from office.

Deputies were at a house on Church Street in Alexander attempting to arrest Andre L. Roberts, 28, of Rochester, when he allegedly injured a deputy during a struggle. It's at least the fifth time Roberts has been arrested in Genesee County this year.
Seasonal draining has begun on the Erie Canal in Western New York. This year's drainage was delayed as part of a pilot program aimed at boosting water levels in nearby fishing streams.
Police and firefighters responded to a car fire on Interstate 490 eastbound between the Bergen and Churchville exits. No one was hurt, Monroe County Sheriff’s Office personnel said at the scene.
