We bid this project almost a year ago for Union Concrete (out of the Buffalo area). Athol Springs is east of the Town of Hamburg and sits on the very windy shores of Lake Erie. This project took some time to coordinate with the Army Corp of Engineers and NY State DOT, but it came out really good. We did 5 sections of the fence and 145 of the ADA toe bars, along with a massive gate and 2 handrails.

We visited the jobsite yesterday in Coudersport, PA to check on progress of our beam clamp hanger install. Things are going very well and they look great! The first picture is the old hanger. You can see the rust that has been caused due to moisture in the pipes; it has caused rusting at the beam connection and on the pipe. The second picture is the new stainless steel beam clamp hangers (designed by BSM), pipe hangers, and pipe sleeves. They are moving along great, more than half of the new 92 hangers are complete.

Have you seen these new beam clamp hangers that were designed here at BSM? They are able to hold up to 2,000 lbs. of material and are adjustable to fit beams 4" to 8" wide (other custom sizing available). With many uses they will be beneficial in many industries; useful to hang pipe, structural components, and any other item that needs overhead suspension. A few finished jobs in Corning, NY.

On November 17th, 1989 Jim and Debbie Billings officially bought Bergreen’s Roofing and Sheet Metal. They did not get the legal name change through the paperwork process until January 1990, but they were official business owners 31 years ago today! Jim and Debbie have grown the company in so many ways in the last 31 years. Jeff Billings joined BSM in 1995 and has grown from a welder/steel fabricator to an estimator and project manager of many structural and custom steel fabr...ication projects. Jason joined Jim, Debbie, and Jeff in 1996 as a welder/fabricator and has used his 24 years of steel fabrication experience to design, fabricate, and manage many custom steel projects. Jill joined the family team in 2013 to enhance the marketing and sales aspect of the company. Custom sheet metal (HVAC) fabrication was the focus early on but over the years the steel products have evolved into many custom steel fabrication and structural steel projects. BSM is proud to be part of many local steel fabrication projects and have many custom steel projects all over the USA and even some overseas! Most recently we are excited to announce we will be providing the steel for the Manny Hanny Development Renovations in Olean! There is no doubt that 2020 has been a standout year for BSM; many good business things have occurred and of course there is COVID. BSM has weathered many changes over the years and this pandemic was a true test. We look forward to a strong 2020 finish and an even stronger 2021.

Yes, we are entering the 4th quarter 2020! Like many things in 2020, their are two opinions on the future of steel pricing.

On a beautiful fall morning in Bradford, PA we installed this custom arch (the brown primed section only). The customer saw the arch at the Olean Lincoln Park and wanted one of his own. He is very happy with the final product and so are we! Our designers, fabricators, and installers did a great job!

It’s our FB Anniversary! On September 25th, 2010 BSM started our Facebook page to share our capabilities in steel fabrication. Since then we have gained over 1,000 followers , many new customers, and even more supporters and friends! Thank you all for your support, interest, and positive thoughts on all we do. We are a true family business that has grown alongside our followers to a thriving steel fabrication business! Cheers to many more successful years ahead!

We designed, fabricated, painted, and delivered this specialized cart for a local electrical manufacturer. We were able to incorporate their products into the design to make the cart functional and safe during use (special attention given when working with electrically charged parts); even the paint is custom to the company colors.
