As many of you know, we were hoping beyond hope that we would be able to hold a safe 75th Anniversary Celebration of Bobb Howard's this fall. Plans were underway, despite the fact that we knew they would have to be tailored to the "new normal" that we have all had to learn to adapt to. The celebration date of October 2nd is just a few days away and unfortunately, the Delta variant numbers are rising. We have tried to figure out a way to create a safe celebratory environment... for a crowd of potentially hundreds of people and have not succeeded in coming up with a plan. With multi-generations attending Bobb Howard's events, from babies to great grandparents, we have come to the conclusion that we cannot in good conscience hold a large event and risk having anyone become ill because of it. Sooo.....Ronnie and I and our Bobb Howard's family have made the decision to postpone our 75th Anniversary Celebration to a future date to be announced. We thank you from our hearts to yours for your understanding. This was not an easy decision.... We look forward to seeing you soon and being able to celebrate in a fun, safe way with you in the future. With much gratitude, eileen and ronnie

Bobb Howard's General Store is so very honored and proud to be the first wholesale customer for the comeback of the beloved SKYBAR Candy Bar. We are so thankful to Louise and Frank at the Sky Bar Confectionary Company for caring enough to take on the huge project of saving a piece of American candy history that was first produced in 1938 by Necco. If you don't know what a SKYBAR is: a 4-section candy bar, each with a different filling - caramel, vanilla, peanut, and fudge - all enrobed in milk chocolate!!! This weekend is especially significant to us this year as we honor our co-workers at Bobb Howard's General Store & Auto Repair for their loyalty and love throughout this pandemic. Our hearts are filled with gratitude towards our Bobb Howard's "family" and all the essential workers who risked their lives for the rest of us. And for those who lost their jobs because of the pandemic, our hearts are with you as well and hope there are better days ahead...
