Brigiotta's now offers curb side pick-up for our delicious submarine sandwiches for both your convenience and well-being. Just call our Sub Shop at (716) 490-6844 to place your order. When you arrive for pickup, pull in to our curbside spots in front of the windows and call the same number or beep your horn. We will bring your food right to your car. Our subshop is still open for walk-in (take-out) and our retail market has plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables, as well as select grocery items such as pastas, milk and eggs. Our dedicated staff are all working together to help our community get through this hard time. If there is anything we can do to help you, please do not be afraid to reach out and ask.

Earlier this week I had the opportunity to tour Brigiotta's Farmland Produce and Garden Center, a well known institution in the city of Jamestown that dates bac...k to 1924 and even earlier. This family owned and operated business is now in the 4th generation with the Galbato family. Brigiotta’s is best known for its outstanding Deli and fresh produce as well as an amazing greenhouse and garden center. But many people may not be aware of the thriving wholesale produce business the Galbato family also operates. Their reach is more than a 100-mile radius encompassing several counties and even into Pennsylvania. They service hundreds of restaurants and other commercial institutions around the region. Among the many items they grow or import to distribute are bananas. Brigiotta’s is truly unique in our area because they bring containers of bananas in directly from central and South America and have their own climate-controlled ripening operation on site. It’s an amazingly complex and involved process to properly ripen bananas for sale. There are no other banana ripening operations in our county and very few within our region. You must go to Cleveland or Buffalo for the next closest ones. This in-house ripening process allows Brigiotta’s to sell top-quality bananas at low prices. Their entire operation is first-class and their products are high quality. I commend the entire Galbato family and their staff for continuing the tradition of supplying great produce and freshly prepared homemade foods for four generations! It is one more business in our county that truly makes us unique and special.
