One of our dining room servers, Mercedes, has gotten her COVID-19 vaccine. She did it to protect everyone around her!

Efforts towards COVID-19 prevention have become part of our daily lives, and finally a breakthrough is almost here: vaccines are on the verge of FDA approval. As part of a U.S. government program, Brookdale residents and associates will be among the first group to have access to a COVID-19 vaccine when it’s available. Did you know? There are more than 7,000 varieties of apples worldwide and about 2,500 varieties exist in the U.S. We had the great experience of trying a few of these different kinds of apples and they were delicious!

We had a great weekend walking for a wonderful cause! Everyone really enjoyed the fresh air and the changing of the seasons. We want to give and extra special thank you to everyone who helped us surpass our goal of raising money for the Alzheimer's Association. There is no way we could have been as successful if it wasn't for all your love and support!
