On Tuesday, November 3, 2020 at 1:30 AM, deputies from the Broome County Sheriff’s Office responded to 10 Norton Drive in the Town of Chenango regarding a dispute involving two people. Responding deputies located the complainant who was also the victim. She stated her neighbor, identified as Talon Thomas, knocked on her door at about 1:20 AM. Thomas was upset and highly agitated after finding... a broken window in his apartment that he believed the victim was responsible for the damage. Upon opening the door Thomas pushed his way into the victim’s apartment. The victim stated she had a baseball bat in her hand for protection. Thomas took the baseball bat from her. Thomas then proceeded to push and strike her until she fell to the floor. Thomas held the bat to her throat obstructing her airway telling her he was going to kill her.
