Beautiful day in the woods of Burbine.

Like many of the local courses, Burbine is getting hit with snow. Around 10-12 inches so far and already had a decent amount in the woods. Ribbons and shovels will be necessary for upcoming play.

Thanks to the Montgomery County Soil and Water Conservation a walkway has been started between holes 13&14. Should be completed tomorrow. No more muddy feet in that area.

If you are looking for a place to eat or drink after a round at Burbine, The Stockyard Public House can be found at the intersection of Corbin Hill Road and 162. Unfortunately the sub place on the corner is closed for some reason right now. The Stockyard is open most days starting at 4pm and at 1pm on Sundays. The owner said though they are there on Saturday's at 1pm and if you call ahead they could get food going for you. https://www.thestockyardpublichouse.com/ If you stop in be sure to tell them you were just playing at Burbine. Going to use this place for after tournament awards in the future.

Growing the sport at Burbine. If you are new to the game don’t worry about throwing from the tees that are marked. Move up to a place more comfortable for you, skip some holes, move your disc back out to the middle, just have fun and throw! #growthesport #kidsdiscgolf
