Our first ever Ugly Sweater Contest! We wanted to spark employee engagement in the agency since some of us are working from home, doing split shifts in Central Industries, and those who never interact since we have locations all over the northeast! So, this year, we decided we wanted to have everyone wear their ugliest sweater. The three winners are, from left to right, Jim Parkes, Victor Huitron, and Jane Forbes! Congratulations to the winners and everyone did a great job with their sweaters :-)

A big thanks to ABC50 for having Al on their show! They talk about the agency and our footprint in the Watertown area. We are working on our location in that region and Al will be one of our team members handling cases in the north country. In our 90+ years, we continue to grow and help more individuals with vision loss!

The past year was a test for all of us. At CABVI, we made the appropriate adjustments to combat the virus and, at the same time, continued to employ nearly 300 people and serve almost 1,700 individuals. We are looking forward to 2021 and remain optimistic for the road ahead!

I'm sure we all know Faith, aka Sharpefinnias! She was one of our first Camp Abilities campers in 2013. In 2017, she started her own non-profit, The Sharpefinnias Effect! Between donations and collecting bottles/cans, she announced a total of $18,412 raised for CABVI's Camp Abilities All we can say is, "WOW!" (Image descriptions: There are multiple pictures of Faith wearing a green shirt, beanie, and jacket standing next to bottles and cans she collected)

We want to thank Mohawk Valley EDGE for this great award! We are doing our best to keep the country safe by supplying gloves and PPE supplies to individuals across the nation. As of next year, we will expand our partnership with Showa, the only U.S. manufacturer of nitrile gloves!
