INCIDENT 12/28/2020 at 1312 hrs. Castorland, Beaver Falls and Lewis County search and rescue Ambulance was dispatched to State Route 410 near the intersection of state route 26 Town of Denmark for a Motor Vehicle accident with injuries. Castorland units responded Engine 2, Utility 1, the Chief arrived on scene found the truck off the road 8 ft. down embankment near the Hayes road the occupant on the side of the road complaining of pain in his chest he stated he may have hit... the steering wheel this info was relied to the Ambulance, Engine 2 arrived on scene and staged blocking the one lane and directed traffic, the Lewis county sheriff unit and L.C.S.R. ambulance arrived, the EMT's provide care to the elderly man Beaver Falls was canceled, after the EMT's evaluated the occupant he sign off on no treatment and transport the Ambulance cleared the scene, Beller's Auto arrived to tow the vehicle, Castorland units cleared the scene turning the scene over to the Sheriff unit. around 1415 hrs. both units and the 12 members reported back in service. 12/21/2020 a live Exercise we did on Jackson Ln with the help from Beaver Falls , West Carthage, Carthage, Natural Bridge

INCIDENT 12/21/2020 at 0910 hrs. Castorland and Beaver Falls was dispatched to 9849 state route 126 Town of Croghan this is by River side drive for a reported wire down across the road. Castorland units responded Utility 1, Engine 2 and Rescue, while in route Dispatch called and reported a power line down near the intersections of routes 410 and 126, Utility one went to Beaver Falls to assist with the wire, Engine 2 and Rescue located the wire by 10316 it was a phone line no ...power, Castorland chief 3 reported there is a wire down across the road in front of 10426, there was 9 residences from the bridge on 126 Beaver Falls to almost Tooker hill or ( Beech ridge rd ) that had their Cable or phone lines ripped down by a Log truck that came from the Croghan area the lines were low enough they were catching on the truck load, Utility removed the wire in Beaver Falls and returned to assist with the other lines, once the lines were removed from the road way all units cleared and returned to the station the state Police show up and was talking to the truck driver, all castorland units and the 11 men reported back in service at 0935 hrs. INCIDENT 12/10/2020 at 1638 hrs. Castorland and Beaver Falls was dispatched to the corner of climax street and Ridge road a passer by called in a unknown type of fire in the woods out back of the mill. Fire Chief responded to the scene and found an employee burning a small brush pile out back of the mill. the Fire chief immediately canceled both departments. Castorland had 6 members that had signed in at the Station before going about our business.
