After five years of prototypes and testing, on Feb 23, the U.S. Postal Service has awarded a contract to build the Next Generation Delivery Vehicle (NGDV) to Os...hkosh Defense. Throughout this process, NALC and USPS have held numerous meetings regarding the design, production, and testing of the prototype vehicles. Under the terms of the contract, Oshkosh Defense will finalize the production design of the NGDV and build up to 165,000 vehicles over the next 10 years. Read more here: https://bit.ly/3urgXXf

New pay rates are in effect starting on 4/10/2021. New form 50s are in eOPF on liteblue.

Congratulations to Ray Andi on your retirement! His awesome customers celebrated "Ray Day" as a tribute to their letter carrier.

If a career letter carrier transfers to a new office, that carrier will transfer into the new office as a PTF and their seniority will start over.

PTF conversions for CCA's with 24 months of relative standing will occur on May 8, 2021.

Hopefully the USPS will award a contract for the Next Gen delivery vehicle by Spring.
