Our YMCA was changed dramatically this year. The pandemic forced us to close our operations for six months, but because of your charitable support, we were able to step up and continue serving our community’s critical needs when your neighbors needed us most. As we look toward the future and continuing to serve our community in amazing ways, we wanted to take a moment to recognize your support of our mission and to share how very grateful we are to have sustaining members like you. Join the Capital District YMCA and Russell Sage College, School of Management for a Virtual MLK Day Youth Summit! Monday, January 18th, 2021 9:30am-12:00pm From the comfort of your own home ... Join us in celebrating Allison Walkley for her 5 years of service to the Capital District YMCA! Allison first joined our Y as a lifeguard and swim instructor. Allison was instrumental in growing our swim lesson program through her kind and caring approach with our young swimmers. Her commitment to safety led Allison to become an instructor of CPR, First Aid & Lifeguard training. This summer Allison was a key member of our Summer Care staff team and branch re-opening team. ... We are grateful for Allison's commitment to our community and our YMCA!
