Call to artists: Get Together and help NOSH Dear Friends, We are inviting artists of all ages to share artwork inspired by this song, Get Together, the iconic 1960’s song Get Together by Dino Valenti and popularized by The Youngblood’s as an appeal for peace and brotherhood, and the choice between love and fear.... Some artwork will be included in a music video directed by Frank Ferrara, local musician, teacher, writer and thought leader, and all artwork will be eligible to be featured online and in the windows of K. DiResta Collective in Sea Cliff. If you choose to sell your art, 100% of the proceeds will benefit North Shore Soup Kitchen/NOSH* that helps to feed local families in need. We will be seeking many forms of creative expression, including painting, drawing, mixed media, photography, dance, and more as a way of expressing the themes explored in this powerful song. The selected image may be incorporated into the final video which may be shown on any social media or internet platform, as well as in K DiResta Studio in Sea Cliff. Creative works must be the original work of the person submitting and bear no copyrights. To participate , please provide all submissions no later than Friday, December 4th via email to: [email protected] or [email protected]. Submissions should be in jpeg format. There will be no monetary compensation for inclusion of your images in the video, However, we do hope to generate a great sense of satisfaction in working together for common good.
