The kids in our Altamont program are getting into the Holiday spirit!

Today we say goodbye Miss Stephanie, after 23 years with the YMCA. She was a true asset as Westmere Y-Time and beyond. We wish her the best of luck on her new adventure in sunny Florida! Thank you for all of your hard work and dedication!

We have teamed up with the Guilderland Police Department to collect items needed to help our community! We will be hosting a drive-thru collection drive on December 9th from 5:00pm to 6:30pm! Items commonly needed include: Food Items:... Canned goods Laundry detergent Dish detergent Ziploc Bags Snacks for kids Pasta Applesauce Cereal Spaghetti Sauce Personal Care Items: Shampoo Deodorant Shaving Cream Toothpaste Hand soap These items will benefit the following local charities: Altamont Community Food Pantry (St. Lucy/St. Bernadette), Guilderland Food Pantry, St. Madeline Sophie (Schenectady), Voorheesville-New Scotland Food Pantry (St. Matthew's). All donations are welcome (including cash/check)!
