Tonight’s Veteran of the Game is Paul Stein. Paul served in the U.S. Navy after enlisting at the age of 17. Today, at 94 years old, Paul and his wife of 68 years root on the Mets with their 2 children, 4 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

Today’s Veteran of the Game is Quartermaster Jack Scofield who served our country as a member of the Navy. Jack served overseas in WWII. Today at 94 Jack lives in New Jersey and the proud Mets fan has four sons, 9 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

Tonight’s Veteran of the Game is Specialist Jeremy Nagle who served our country in the U.S. Army. Thank you for your service!

Harold Yood is tonight’s Veteran of the Game. Harold served our country during WWII as a member of the Army. After his time in the Army, he was a doctor from 1946-2001. The proud Mets fan is 100 years young! We salute you, Harold!

Today’s Veteran of the Game is Joseph Colello who was a member of the U.S. Navy. He enlisted at age 17, and served during World War II, receiving a Purple Heart after his ship was attacked. Today at 94 years young, Joseph resides in Albany and is a proud Mets fan that makes a trip to Citi Field every season.

The talented Demi Lovato celebrates her birthday today. Our gift to you is her Amazin’ rendition of the National Anthem from the 2015 World Series performed here at Citi Field

Tonight we recognize Petty Officer 1st Class John Cruz as tonight’s Veteran of the Game. John was a member of the U.S. Navy for 20 years. John is now an EMT in Newark NJ. He is a life-long New York Mets fan and prior to this season he attended the last 14 home openers dating back to 2005. Thank you for your service, John!
