The City of Auburn thanks Auburn Community Hospital and the Cayuga County Health Department as we take part in Phase One of New York States COVID-19 vaccination plan. Your local first responders have started the vaccination process at ACH so they can serve the community better while remaining safe themselves and limiting any potential spread. In the coming weeks and months the COVID-19 vaccine will be available in various phases, as approved by New York State, to protect more... and more community members. In the mean time we encourage everyone to continue to exercise recommended best practices of social distancing, the utilization of face coverings, and limiting interaction with others. Our community is experiencing a significant increase in COVID-19 positive cases and our local medical providers and hospital are under significant stress as their capacities are being challenged by an influx of COVID-19 related illness. Please do everything you can to help limit the spread of COVID-19, so that our medical system can get some much needed relief and our local businesses can resume normal operations.

We would especially like to recognize the public servants that work within our organization and others that are on duty through the holidays to serve others. Thank you all for your service. We also thank all of Auburn & Cayuga County's front line workers that have worked so hard the past 9 months under the pandemic conditions. Thursday, December 10, 2020 Saturday, December 12, 2020 These are COVID19 rapid testing clinics. These clinics are for individuals who are not experiencing symptoms: The clinic will take place at the Emerson Park Pavilion located at 6843 E. Lake Rd, Auburn. You must have an appointment in order to participate in this clinic. Be prepared to wait on-site for up to 30 minutes for your results. Wear a mask and social distancing will be enforced. Individuals will enter the highway garage bays through State Street and exit on York Street. ... The Cayuga County Health Department has partnered with Upstate University Hospital to offer this service. Due to the high number of calls and long wait times at Upstate, the Cayuga County Health Department is making available an alternate registration option: 1. The Cayuga County Health Department partnering with Upstate University Hospital will be offering a No-Cost drive-through Covid testing clinic for Cayuga County residents on Wednesday, September 30th from 3PM to 7PM at the Cayuga County Highway Garage, 91 York Street in Auburn.
