Hello All! I'm happy to say I'm back and ready for business. However, changes in policies, procedures, and hours of operation had to be made to ensure safety fo...r us all! The following goes into effect as of July 1st: - Clinton Shoe will be open for Repair DROP-OFFS and PICK-UPS Thursday and Friday 11 to 6 Every other Sat 12 to 4 - A deposit of half the estimated cost MUST be paid at time of drop -off - No mask, No entry - EVERY repair MUST be in a bag - No more than 4 customers in the shop at one time This goes into effect immediately upon reopening Thursday, July 2nd I assure you all guidelines are met to allow for a safe environment. EDIT:: We were just informed by the Chamber of Commerce that Hamilton College will be purchasing tables, chairs and trash bins for the outdoor dining area. Jer...sey barriers are being ordered and should be in end of this week. They’re hoping to have the area set up for the farmers market on 6/18. About a month ago we asked the Village of Clinton to consider a temporary outdoor dining space in the village green that patrons of all village restaurants could use. We were and still are concerned that our regular outdoor seating area would get in the way of the many pedestrians enjoying a stroll while maintaining social distancing in our quaint little town. We are happy to report that village officials have planned to create a public outdoor dining space which should be built in the next week. You’ll be able to grab takeout from any Clinton restaurant and dine in this space on West Park Row. We will be donating tables and chairs to the space and will regularly assist in sanitation and trash removal. Today makes 3 years my uncle Jack Lane has left us. My uncle, my godfather, my teacher... Without him, there would be no Clinton Shoe Repair. Rest in Peace Jack, and know you are missed!

Hello All! I am back at the shop today from 12 - 4. Hours are limited the rest of this week (Thurs, Fri, Sat) from 12 to 4. Hopefully next week things will be back to normal!! Thanks for your understanding and patience!
