Hello CLV Community. The IT department is recommending you connect to our Booster for 15 minutes, anytime day or night every two weeks in order for the iPads to make updates. This connection to our booster will download missing apps and allow our Mobile Device Manager to communicate with the iPad. For students with Laptops, connecting to the booster and restarting allows the laptop to get all the Microsoft updates and authenticate with the Microsoft server we have on campu...s. For iPads we are recommending every 2 weeks. Laptops should come to campus every 3-4 weeks and get restarted while connected to the school's booster. Neither the school vans or the firehalls with Internet access will work to correct these issues with Laptops and iPads. If you are not having problems with either your iPad or Laptop, you don't need to do this, but it would help prevent issues. Please call the IT department at 257 - 5955 if you have questions.
