Between 1903 and 1912, The Curtiss Manufacturing Co. offered a wide variety of Curtiss brand motorcycles and accessories to the public. This included carburetors, sparkplugs, tool kits and even a Curtiss brand motor oil. Aside from the standard single and twin cylinder motorcycles, special built cycles were also included at various times to add variety. In 1903 Curtiss offered a tandem motorcycle with a choice of either a single or two-cylinder engine. Sales that year were poor for the model, and he discontinued it while still offering a conversion kit for standard motorcycles in its place.
