Women are living longer than men, and they need to plan their finances accordingly. In 2010, 40% of women over 65 were widows and almost half of women 75 or older lived alone startlingly enough, these older women’s median income is now just $15,000.

It’s important to make sure your kids continue to read throughout the summer. According to the National Summer Learning Association, all young people experience learning losses when they do not engage in educational activities during the summer. Research spanning 100 years shows that students typically score lower on standardized tests at the end of summer vacation than they do on the same tests at the beginning of the summer.
