Just a quick update - Allergy shots and biologics are still being administered on Tuesdays and Thursdays. - Those on biologics we are encouraging to explore home administration, can send us a mychart message if you haven't heard from us regarding this option -Moderate and Severe Asthmatics- please do not deviate from your controller therapy. If questions, I do have virtual visits available where we can discuss. - Any patient coming into the office should be ...wearing a face-mask in compliance with the most recent CDC recommendations (see below & even has link to making your own at home) - If your preferred media is video, then my recommendation for an NY update of the current pandemic locally is via the Governor's daily update (it's archived on many sites if you miss the livestream). I have watched some of the various local and national news and been horrified with the way information is being presented (the verbiage, facial expression and intonation of journalists and even medical professionals). Much data is cherry-picked in a fashion which in my opinion is based on what will capture the biggest audience but also places a big shock factor. It's late summer/early fall. Yay. If you like the end of summer and that harbinger of winter (guess what seasons Dr. P don't likey! ugh.) While it's the beauty of "crisp" mornings (ugh), cooler temps, and end of summer picnics, this is when stinging insects get aggressive, especially the mean ones.
