Hi Fans! I finally created a YouTube channel to start sharing my surgical techniques. A huge thank you to all of my mentors along the way. I think of you every time I'm in the OR! And to my patients - you are simply the best. And to my office and OR teams - thank you for handling everything else so I can focus on this stuff... And to my residents and students - thank you for sharing a mutual desire to live, love, and learn! There are just a few videos up right now, but the... collection will grow! https://youtube.com/user/himanigoyalmd

Let's learn from our Essential Childcare Centers (ECC) that were open in NY from the start of the pandemic... So many children and their "teachers", including my own, did so well and continue to do so!

"The best available evidence indicates that COVID-19 poses relatively low risks to school-aged children. Children appear to be at lower risk for contracting COVID-19 compared to adults," the CDC said. "No studies are conclusive, but the available evidence provides reason to believe that in-person schooling is in the best interest of students. " Schools help the growth of "the whole child," the CDC said, and often provide nutrition and socialization children don't receive at ...home. "At the same time, the harms attributed to closed schools on the social, emotional, and behavioral health, economic well-being, and academic achievement of children, in both the short- and long-term, are well-known and significant," the CDC said. "Further, the lack of in-person educational options disproportionately harms low-income and minority children and those living with disabilities."
