The Long Island LEAP OF FAITH was postponed today for the following: Although we had a NYS DOT permit in place for months and Nassau County Police Department commitment We had in place all agreements for CDC guideline compliance set and in affect, with sanitation and hand cleaning stations, free facemasks to all with mandatory mask wearing Predetermined 6 foot social distancing reserve spaces for spectators... Letter of approval from the town of Oyster Bay, NY highway department We have a $5,000.000.00 insurance policy from Lloyd’s of London, combined single limit spectator liability It fell apart today on the local level between the Town of Oyster Bay, NY legislator and the Nassau County executive This is a highly charged polarizing moment in our nation (especially with the election so close) and no one wants to be culpable of unforeseen accidents or outbreaks Whenever there is an opportunity to preach the Gospel publicly, you can imagine the degree of spiritual warfare opposing this event. Our prayer is that God will use this event for the proclamation of the Gospel, that many people would be ready for the coming of the Lord. Matthew 24:44. Ephesians 6:12. Our team will not be departing from our home base of Rochester New York on Thursday, August 20 and the LEAP OF FAITH jump event will not be happening on Saturday, August 22, 2020 My thanks especially to Brian Austin, Neil DiAngelo, Kathy Jo Campione and Sarah Luciano. We will continue to work with our great evangelistic partner, East Gate Church and Pastor Steven & Stephanie Iannuccilli to coordinate this amazing event at a future date and it will be even better than we thought !!!
