We too are concerned about the safety and health of our patients and staff. We are open, offering all of our services, as before. We clean, scrub, disinfect the treatment areas, wash hands before and after each visit, have everyone wear masks, and follow the CDC guidel...ines, including distancing. I have thought for some time now that there would be stories about chronic damage and slow recovery of lungs after pulmonary infections with the Covid-19 virus. This is why I promote the use of the Viral Infection Protocol ( VIP treatment), using the osteopathic manipulative treatments, or OMT, for respiratory problems. THIS IS LONG but explains what we are doing during the Covid-19 pandemic. These are unusual times that we are all struggling through as we weather the COVID-19 viral pandemic. Rest assured that we at the Falcon Clinic for Health, Wellness and Recovery are here for you and your health needs, including support and information. Our staff is following the State and CDC guidelines for disinfecting, distancing and scheduling of patients, and triaging of patients. We are seeing... patients in the office, one at a time to minimize the waiting time and number of people in the waiting room at any one time. The doctors and counselors are using telehealth video conferencing for those patients at high risk. As a result, we have been able to continue the high quality of health care which you have rightfully become accustomed to and expect. As you may already be aware of, high risk patients include not only those patients who have traveled from hot zones such as China, South Korea, Italy, and Spain, but may also include people returning from New York City, San Francisco, and even Washington State and Florida. Also, at high risk are people who have an active fever, cough with shortness of breath and chest pain, and are bringing up respiratory secretions through the nose and/ or chest as in coughing. Such patients should be quarantining themselves for at least 14 days, per CDC guidelines, or calling for advice rather than coming to the Clinic.
