UPDATE! We have gotten the go-ahead to start booking appointments with some restrictions! If you have contacted us already or if you have had an appointment on our books since 3/20, you are on our list and we will be getting in touch shortly. Thanks so much for your patience as we begin rescheduling about 500 missed appointments! If you have an appointment booked after 5/18, that appointment is still reserved for you. Let us know if you need to cancel or reschedule it. Our lobby will be closed, and those with appointments will receive curbside service.

Fetching Looks Pet Grooming, Ltd. is still closed due to the Covid19 non-essential business shut down. We are hoping to be part of Phase 2 of the Governor's reopening plan. (Phase 1 starts Friday the 15th and includes industrial, retail curbside, and construction. If the numbers stay in our favor, phase 2, which includes professional services, could start 2 weeks later!). Many of you have reached out and are confused that some other local groomers are open and we are no...t. Some local groomers have applied for exemptions and are legally able to be open at this time. We are not. If you need immediate assistance for your pet, please consider visiting one of them. We would be glad to welcome you back when we return! When we are permitted to open, we will begin contacting clients in the order of their missed appointments, starting with those who were booked on the afternoon of March 20th as they have been waiting the longest. Those with calendars for the year or who have several future booked appointments will be able to keep the appointments they have scheduled from opening day forward. With no definite end date to the non-essential business shutdown, we are thinking of you all! This is a good video to watch if you'd like to be sure you are thoroughly brushing your pet at home. This technique should be used all over but pay especially close attention to "armpits", faces, and the area behind/under the ears. These and any other areas that rub together or against harnesses and collars tend to tangle the quickest. This is a sales video for the Andis company so they don't mention that it is also a good idea to add a silicone spray like "Ice on Ice" to protect the hair from breakage, keep static to a minimum, and help with detangling. Just got a shipment back from my sharpener so we can be all ready for everyone when we are allowed to open again! It is frustrating to stand here in my kitchen looking at it. Can’t wait to see you all again!

Today we celebrate 8 years at Fetching Looks Pet Grooming! Please post some photos of or stories about your pets! We miss them all so much! It is a bittersweet anniversary. As we spring ahead and check our smoke detectors consider training your pet to be safe in a fire. Try making a positive association with the sound of the alarm by sounding your smoke detector and giving your pet a treat at various exit points in your home. Include your pet in fire drills. A pet hiding in a fire could be fatal for the pet or cause a delay in evacuation for family members. We love your pets and want them to be safe!

We have LOTS of doodle friends but Finley is our first Sheepadoodle! He is just a puppy but already has the table manners of a much older dog. And yes...he really is as soft as he looks!
