Dear Finger Lakes Radiology friends. As we approach Christmas and the end of a very difficult and challenging year, we would like to thank you for your continuous support of our practice. Although vaccinations have just begun, we can see a dim light on the end of a long tunnel. Our colleagues at Finger Lakes Health, including staff at the Geneva General Hospital, Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Hospital, Long Term Care Facilities, Urgent Care locations and Outpatient facilities h...ave been at the forefront of this unprecedented pandemic. We have seen first-hand, the altruism and dedication of an incredible group of professionals and we are grateful to be a small part of this community. This latest surge in Covid-19 cases has led to discontinuation of elective inpatient and outpatient procedures. In addition the health care systems is also faced with extensive unfunded testing mandates by state government and this has created a significant financial burden. On behalf of Finger Lakes Health and the Finger Lakes Health Foundation, we would like to ask you to keep our health care system in mind during these trying times. Congratulations to our MRI Technologist, Danielle Vuillemot for achieving her goal of becoming registered in MRI. Her accomplishment takes a lot of discipline, determination and of course.. studying. Danielle is compassionate and caring with her patients and has an important role in obtaining quality images for our Radiologists to review and diagnose. Thank you Danielle and Congratulations!
